Hello All! https://palmbeachdaytrips.com is back! We’re here, on a brand new website and it’s great to finally get started again. It’s been quite a challenge starting over, but I am confident once things get going the momentum will pick up and take us on some amazing day adventures together. When you’re planning a trip to South Florida you should most definitely check us out. There is always something new and fresh going on, which I will tell you about here.
WHATEVER THE REASON
Maybe you’re planning a trip with the family to experience some of our South Florida living to get away from the ccccccrazy cold. Or maybe you’re visiting friends that most likely will have to go to work while you’re soaking up the sun. Quite possibly you are visiting Grandma and Grandpa because they have that great Condo on the Beach. Well then you’ve come to the right place. I’m here to tell you all about places to see and things to do, even if Grandpa won’t let you drive his car. I also have a great solution to that problem.

Our local commuter train,http://tri-rail.com will take care of most of your transportation needs while here. More of us locals are discovering, using and actually enjoying this mode of getting around. It just takes some imagination, a sense of adventure and some extra time. Even more, the newest addition to our public transportation system, http://GoBrightline.com has made quite a splash onto the scene. With their sleek and brightly colored train cars they will zip you to and from Ft. Lauderdale, Miami and now even to Orlando in comfort and record times. It sure beats fighting the traffic. Anyone from Boston or Chicago here, you know what I’m talking about.
WATERFRONT OR INLAND?
Florida, being the sort of oddly shaped long Peninsula that it is, has most of it’s attractions clustered near the water. That is not to say there isn’t anything to see or do inland as well. You know, where the alligators and the Florida Panthers live. There are plenty of things to do away from the coast. If you’re up to exploring, have the time and have the desire to experience “Old Florida” Our Palm Tran Bus system is a wonderful extension to the rail system and will take you places from where the trains let you off. Little by little I will cover it all and then you decide what you’re in the mood for.
I tend to be very passionate about certain things so you may catch me randomly writing or commenting on them. First and foremost the environment and how we treat it. Similarly, trash on our beaches and in the ocean. Above all else, my love for animals. It will all be relevant to life in South Florida so please indulge me the occasional rant, you may even find it interesting.
