Fun in the Great Outdoors
One of my most favorite ways to spend an afternoon is to relax at one of the many open-air seating areas at one of our many lovely restaurants, tiki bars, beach, or waterside locations. There are many to choose from. Whether you enjoy a completely tropical atmosphere or you’re star gazing (and I mean that in both ways, the stars in the sky or the stars from Hollywood) at a local Italian Trattoria, it’s available to you on any day. Whether you prefer a nice bottle of Chardonnay or you’re more the Lemon Drop or Espresso Martini type, libations abound. Let your imagination run wild. Come off the beach in your cover up or come in your Sunday best, it’s here for your choosing.
Icing on the cake is that most of these places offer Happy Hour usually from 4pm-6pm or 5pm-7pm with extended hours and extended offerings during the summer months. Remember, it’s rather warm so there is a lot of competition for your business. A sampling of some of my favorites:
- Benny’s on the Beach…where you actually sit our over the surf on the Lake Worth Pier!
- Carmine’s Trattoria or Carmine’s Ocean Grille on the PGA Marina overlooking mega yachts!
- Seasons 52 or Waterway Cafe sitting under the bridge that opens on the half hour to some pretty spectacular boat traffic.
